Hello! I haven't updated in a while, but I'm hoping that I can get some things recorded over the next two weeks whilst I have some time.

Hi all! Haven't posted anything fresh in what feels like forever! Here's my cover of Joni Mitchell's "Little Green" from her brilliant 1971 album, Blue. Utterly beautiful song that I have been in love with ever since I first heard it.
Obviously, this song is not mine, I do not own any rights to it whatsoever, and all rights go to Joni Mitchell and associated producers etc.

This is a track I recorded spur of the moment. It was written by Bob Dylan and recorded in 1964 and released in 1991 as a rare and unreleased track in his first Bootleg series.

This was one of the first recordings I did of the song in about a 45 minute period. It has glitches, which I won't apologise for. I recorded this with a very Dylan aesthetic in mind: it is not what you control about the performance, but what you don't control, and thus the mood you create and the scenes you paint with the notes you choose and how you convey what you have been saying.
This lack of control is the core of what I hope to convey when I sing something. No one's words are more powerful than Dylan's, and taking extra care with why you convey his words means everything.

Hello again.
This was one of the many (three or so) tracks I've recorded this weekend.
This is of course a cover, and of course again something relatively unknown to people, but that's reasonably typical of me as I'm sure you've learnt so far with my sharing on the sound of cloud.
This is a song by two lovely men Rob Snarski and Dan Luscombe from a band called the Blackeyed Susans.
This is a little shout out to my friend Jocey, who I imagine is working late tonight, but still it's for you, for after all you gave Dad and I this album and we just love you to pieces anyway. :)))
