UK producer and DJ extraordinaire GotSome returns to Toolroom with his latest record ‘In The Dark’. Teaming up with upcoming Brighton based producer George Kwali, whose 2016 collaboration with Kideko - ‘Crank It’ turned heads throughout the dance music world solidifying him an artist to watch. 

Together, GotSome & George Kwali have created a bass heavy house hit, a serious record with a raw edge to it and dark undertones throughout. The track is guided by the soft, ethereal yet sleazy vocals which breathe a sultry air into ‘In The Dark’. An undoubtedly captivating track from start to finish, seductively drawing you in with its squelchy bass lines and enticing grooves.

GotSome’s sharp rise has been meteoric, releasing eccentric and interesting club hits on labels such as Ultra, Armada, Nervous and Stress records. Following on from his 2020 Toolroom release ‘Caught In Your Rhythm’ with Clementine Douglas, GotSome brings his unique blend of old school house style with a fresh modern twist, creating the seriously energetic track that is ‘In The Dark’. Arguably one their strongest and most exciting releases yet, both GotSome & George Kwali pull out all the stops and have collectively created a future
anthem. A record which you can expect to hear tearing up dance floors around the world and pumping through the main room speakers from late night sets to the early morning!

It’s been a long time in the making but label owners ‘Icarus’ finally grace their own imprint with new single ‘ITL’. 

After their recent outing on Anjunadeep with ‘Moment In Time’ featuring Jamie ’N’ Commons, the pair bring us a euphoric, uplifting record, utilising an instantly recognisable vocal hook paired with the duo’s signature melodic and emotive production. 

A record that’s travelled across the globe with brothers Tom & Ian Griffiths, the tune has been a stand out moment in their DJ sets, having played earlier versions to thousands of fans already. 

“We’ve always known this record connects with people. Whenever we’ve played it, we’d always get messages afterwards asking things like ‘what’s that ‘is this love tune??’. It feels great to have finally finished it and we’re very excited to be putting it out on our own label.”
