Maeli is an American Samoan aspiring artist who fell in love with music as a kid. At the age of 8, he joined the church choir to learn how to sing and during this time, he determined singing is his passion. He remembers Listening to his father playing the guitar and singing Samoan church hymns. Aside from church music, they spent time together listening to old cassette tapes of Michael Jackson, the Bee Gees, ABBA, Bon Jovi, UB40, Bob Marley and many other music legends. Maeli loved it so much, he imitated their style of singing. During the early 90's he was then introduced to R&B music. He started listening to Boyz II Men, BlackStreet Boys, Baby Face, R-Kelly, and many more! It was at this time  Maeli pushed himself to be a Polynesian R&B/Reggae Singer! With a very soulful voice that slowly evolved over time which makes him unique in his own way.His music has influences from his favorite singers such as Trey Songz , Ne-Yo , Brian Mcknight, and Sean of Boyz II Men. He brings a combination of all these artists in his own way and with an island twist!
