Words from the @mystictrax: One of the last representatives of the romantic wave of anonymous musicians who prioritize creativity, not the personality of the author. After the debut «Aura» on 2064年 Recordings and one track on the compilation from SHCHTS and a long silence, the author presents us with «Luxx» - four tracks of garage and breakbeat, in which romantic feelings and hope pour over the edge. «During COVID, everything changed for me, as for many others. I began to stay more alone, abstracting from other people's opinions and advice, listening more and more to myself. This is how the idea of Echodive came about, which can be compared to white label records: you listen, and you don't know who performs them. Music should always be in the foreground. Still, I'm not a pop artist and I'm not going to be one.

Then the war started, because of the constant shelling, I often left the studio for safer places, such as the subway and underground parking lots, where Luxx was written. A lot has changed, both inside me and in relation to creating music. The tracks were written on a laptop, to which I connected cheap headphones and a small midi keyboard. Since I can't work in the studio because of f*ckin russia...

Artificio’s cofounders, Passq (fka Arcane Prospect) and Rainmaker, take their sound in bold new directions with a four-track EP that mixes raw energy with sharp, forward-thinking production. Kicking off with «Midas Touch», Rainmaker blends his techno and ambient roots with fresh ideas, setting the tone for what’s to come—deep basslines and rich atmospheres that hint at his past while pushing into new territory.

Passq follows with «Sin Perse» and «Randy», where intricate sound design, distorted rhythms, and heavy bass are combined with a touch of dark humor. The EP closes with «Amour Fou», a “hyperbass” track, filled with both longing and optimism, echoing a desire for transformation.

A Fuego Y A Fondo is Artificio's statement of intent—a fierce commitment to pushing sound to its edges, challenging norms, and keeping dance music untamed.

Cellular Automata is the new album from Dopplereffekt (Rudolf Klorzeiger and To-Nhan), their first in ten years since 2007’s Calabi Yau Space on Rephlex.

Cellular Automata approaches mathematical growth and decay as an iterative process, with each data input considered individually relative to the overall model. The result represents one of the group’s boldest creative endeavors, defying expectations while remaining unmistakably Dopplereffekt.

Cellular Automata is the third Dopplereffekt release to come out via Leisure System, following 2013’s Tetrahymena and 2014’s Hypnagogia.

The B2 to the Recast EP featuring Mike Ink, DJ Guy, & Terrestre aka Murcof released 11/09/2017 on Future Primitive.

A second release for London's Future Primitive Records brings to the fore a new hand-picked selection of hard to find - if not overlooked - tracks from Wolfgang Voigt, DJ Guy and Fernando Corona, aka Murcof. All of the music to feature on this four-track Recast EP was previously subject to tape or CD only release.

Lifted from his only album as Love Inc., Wolfgang Voigt's "Income" sits primo as the A1, holding firm 22 years after its original release. Predating Voigt's work as GAS, its caustic chords, shimmering melodies and chilled 85BPM vibe render it a production borne from the classic dub techno blueprint of the early-to-mid '90s. An early take on "slo-mo" techno.

The cassette tapes of DJ Guy have again been raided, with Future Primitive joining a select cast of followers to rejuvenate the Welshman's productions with an edit that appeared on his tape for Crisis Urbana.

Both B-side tracks "Botas De Oro" and "Secondary Inspection Theme" come from Murcof's one-time Terrestre alias, a project from the early-2000s which fuses textural, slow-motion and minimal house sensibilities with Mexican Banda and NorteNo music - aka Nortec, a micro-sub-genre to come out of Tijuana. Loose percussion, swung drums and winding rhythms are made all the more esoteric through the subversively climactic nature of Terrestre's music.

Well, that we live a crazy, completely mad, crazy life, these are not just a words, not comparison, not exaggeration, but the simplest statement of what is really is. And one of the serious sensations associated with our time was the feeling of impending absurdity, when insanity becomes more or less normal.
Hailing from Manchester, 21 year old Thodén has seen releases over the past year on Nous Disques, Eyeangle and more recently inaugurating the Stuttgart based ‘Electroménager’. Encapsulating a variety of influences from UK Techno through to jungle, his style has emerged as one of percussive and bass-oriented club ready music.
Now German Row Records present his new work 4 track "Gade" EP, our pick up is "38tc" - a dark post-apocalytpic track which more than gives a knowing nod with shakey snares, booming drums, a dubby electrified bassline and breakbeat which sounds like it is a march of darkness and hopeless within apreggio which would see as a direct reflection of this strange days.
