if you know me you probably know that jon is easily my fav musician on the planet. this song is incredibly important to me in ways i truly don't think i can put into words.

i've always wanted a version that i can play out in sets without sacrificing the tempo (i usually play around 140-150bpm), thus this was born.

Maelstrom is the solo project of Jacob Pursehouse, an independent electronic musician based in Manchester, UK. 

Since 2017, he has produced a broad range of electronic music - from dubstep and future bass to electronic-indie, taking inspiration from artists such as Porter Robinson, Fox Stevenson, and San Holo.

His most recent Album, titled ‘Home’ and released 3rd August 2022, is a combination of both heavy electronic and subtle indie tracks, blending a generally upbeat mantra with both energetic cuts, and emotion-ladened passages.

A new project for Maelstrom is currently in the works, so keep posted for more news!
