A Mãe Solteira teve hoje a sua primeira filha, "Saudade Não Se Sente, Evita-se". Esta mixtape é uma compilação de alguns instrumentais produzidos por Astrea. Cada uma destas produções tem samples de música lusófona, duas delas serão brevemente lançadas com voz também pela Mãe Solteira. 
Esta compilação marca também uma fase de experimentação, aprendizagem, tentativa e erro. Nasceu prematura e o parto foi bastante doloroso, mas estamxs todxs vivxs, para amanhã sermos melhores.

[PT - ENG below] SyntHuman é o novo lançamento de Ndr0n e descreve um processo de transformação: transformação física ao abraçar a máquina como uma extensão da biologia; transformação digital, permitindo que decisões geradas pelas máquinas orientem o processo de composição gerado por humanos.

Este EP foi concebido como uma invocação à destruição do dogma e à aceitação da beleza na sinergia entre o ser humano e a máquina.

SyntHuman marca uma das etapas da jornada musical de Ndr0n. Para o produtor é importante não estagnar e continuar à procura de mudanças. Consolidar obras de uma época que tem um certo caráter sonoro e divulgá-las para o mundo é, para ele, uma ação muito importante para encerrar um ciclo e iniciar outro.


[ENG ] SyntHuman is Ndr0n’s new release. It describes a process of transformation: physical transformation by embracing machine as an extension of biology; digital transformation by allowing machine generated decisions to guide the human generated composition process.

This EP is designed as an invocation to the destruction of dogma and to the acceptance of the beauty in the synergy between human and machine.

This release marks one of the stages of the musical journey of this project. To the producer it’s important not to stagnate and to continue the search for change. Consolidating works from an era that has a certain sonic character and releasing them to the world is, for him, a very important action to bring a cycle to an end and start another.

[ENG] Women, BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ communities have always been in a subaltern place in society. Mãe Solteira Records, as we’ve been demonstrating, is a label dedicated to the edition, agency and promotion of artists that belong to these minorities.
Our goal is to fill an obvious gap, and to that end, we’ve been rolling up our sleeves and lifting weights every day. We are finally showing you now a very special project that we’ve been developing since the beginning of our journey: Memory Palace, a VA compilation of 12 tracks made by women and/or queer artists, that will be released on 21st february of 2022.

✸ How did the name Memory Palace came up? ✸
As in the Loci Method, or Memory Palace, we want to
create a safe imagery through the music experienced in
this compilation. We believe that betting on information
is also opening doors to an unanimous conscience in the deconstruction of a standardized society. For this reason, we decided to revert half of the launch revenue to QueerIST, a queer group (LGBTIA+) of students from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) that aims to include, inform and dialogue about Queer themes. QueerIST also has a library - a place of memory - with queer and related works (where the money will be invested on), open to all, in order to facilitate access to a more inclusive culture, in addition to the most diverse initiatives they have had.
We hope you enjoy this VA and that you find in it your Memory Palace.

Para o primeiro mix convidamos Saetern, uma artista nascida em Lisboa que procura criar uma experiência imersiva onde a dualidade entre melodias etéreas e batidas ríspidas possa subsistir.
As suas influências são caracterizadas sobretudo por um prisma de música eletrónica, focado principalmente em hardcore, gabber e deconstructed club.A sua exploração define-se pela busca de momentos siderais onde a intensidade é mais forte que qualquer barreira física 🖤

Demos início às Mãe Vadia onde apresentamos aquilo que mais gostamos de fazer: vadiagem! Para inaugurar a MÃE VADIA, tivemos um set de três horas no Desterro, feito por um dos nossos artistas agenciados, @assalisa. 
ASSALI, um jovem guineense a viver em Lisboa há mais de 20 anos, tem um gosto especial por ritmos africanos e que, aliados à sua energia contagiante, conseguem enfeitiçar a pista de dança.

Na quarta edição da Mãe Vadia, recebemos este live de Durga Black e ainda um J SET de X1000, que trouxe muito noise e ambient, trazendo ainda a companhia da poesia de Santiago Segundo.
Viajante, migrante e poeta, a arte sonora de Durga Black (aka Carla Badillo Coronado) é feita de tantas vivências quanto experiências. Umas e outras misturam-se entre o quotidiano e o sonho. A fusão dessas linguagens é um fluxo permanente que percorre o seu trabalho, da escrita à música. Existe, acima de tudo, uma liberdade libertadora, híbrida e consciente de si mesma. Entre o rap, a colagem, a electrónica e o spokenword, cria novos mundos em formato de instalação sonora. Peças como ‘MATERIA INTERFERIDA’, ‘333’ ou ‘Pelo de Medusa’, constroem pequenos teatros oníricos, de sabor sci-fi e elegantes formas eletrónicas.

Sendo o acto de criação também ele um acto de resistência, muita da sua obra questiona as realidades do seu tempo. O disco '20/20', com METAMORPHOSIS, exorcizou a caixa de Pandora da pandemia, enquanto ‘No Les Creo’ retratou a decadência do quadro político e social do seu país.
A voz, os samples, o teclado e sons encontrados durante a viagem da improvisação assumem-se como novas fonéticas, interpretações e traduções sobre a atual realidade das coisas. Pelo hip hop conectou o imaginário da arte de viajar: observar, recolher e criar uma situação, um personagem ou uma estória.

A imprevisibilidade de caminhar nas ruas, apostando ideias e organizando notas mentais, atrai faísca a muita da sua produção. A filosofia, a dança ou vídeo são outras ramificações que se enlaçam em redor desta artista equatoriana, para quem o acto de luta é sinal de sanidade. Luta poética que se nega a normalizar, ou diluir, nas urgências e prioridades do mundo externo.

Na quarta edição da Mãe Vadia, recebemos um live de Durga Black seguido deste incrível DJ SET de X1000, que trouxe muito noise e ambient, trazendo ainda a companhia da poesia de Santiago Segundo. 
x1000 é o heterónimo de Alice Turnbull e, assim como o nome indica, sua forma de expressão é caracterizada pela repetição e pela alta distorção dos sons e, por vezes, da palavra. Nesta apresentação, a palavra vem da colaboração com o poeta paulista e maldito, Santiago Segundo.
