Yamata is here at last. This one was extremely fun to make as I got to use some of my favorite instrument combinations with the cello and the piano. For Isolophobia, I wanted a melancholic tone to represent Yamata's journey as a character. Abyss of Animus, on the other hand, was meant to be openly threatening, representing Yamata finally snapping. Overall, I'm very proud of the final product. January 11th nears and I'm excited for what's to come. This is the second part of the Yamata medley, "Raging Fiend".

We are in the endgame once again. I got emotional while making this for a bunch of reasons. Condemned is not only the sort of melancholic sendoff to the chaos storyline (for now), but it is also a representation of me saying farewell to a very important period of my life. My senior year of high school is passing rapidly. The memories I've made and the people I've met over these 5 years are all coming back to me. I will miss this part of my life, however time doesn't ever stop moving. What lies ahead is an uncertain yet promising future, for both me and my music. With that being said, Shen approaches...

And thus the chaos storyline comes to a close for the time being. There will be more battles to be fought but that comes much later. This is my longest project to date and was one of the greatest challenges I've faced as a composer. Similarly to Infinitum, there was the fear of expectations. That was my greatest source of worry throughout the process of making this as I truly wanted this to be a memorable experience. And while it is truly up to you, the viewer, to decide if it was; I am quite happy with the result. Composing Shen made me ask another question to myself however. The question of whether I'll be able keep surpassing my previous works. Shen was in direct competition with IZ in my head and I still am unsure which had more of an impact. There were times where I doubted my abilities and growth as a composer while composing Shen because of how much I thought about the answer to the aforementioned question. My greatest fear as a composer has always been the fear of my growth hitting a plateau and I will push myself to not make that a reality. The question will not hinder me from composing, as I do this because I love telling stories. Still though, it is a question that will live in my head for a while. 

Aside from all this, I truly wish to thank Loco, Dawn, and Serb for working as hard as they did to finish this project on time. Without them, it would not be as special as it is. I also want to thank them and the rest of the AA team for supporting me throughout the process, and genuinely being amazing people. I truly could not have asked for better friends. With that being said, thank you everyone for making my 19th birthday amazing.
