MAFAKA is a Mumbai based acoustic funk rock duo comprising of poet and lyricist Ramneek Singh and guitarist and music producer Josh Thomas. Inspired by a long tradition of folk and revolutionary poetry, with lyrics relevant to the political zeitgeist, MAFAKA seeks to challenge archaic and irrelevant interpretations to promote free thinking and humanism.

Produced by Culture Shoq, their debut single #377Teri is a Funk Disco-style 'Big Finger' to Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code that criminalises Homosexuality.
