Mafiana is the writer,producer DJ and mc, with a historical experience in Cape town hip hop and modern boom bap beats influenced by Mar farina,RJD2 and the likes of Freddie Joachim, this fuses to another element that has developed in his musical career with the Selective Hearing label. Formerly a member of First Case and The stereotypes band, Mafiana broke thru the small Cape Town industry thru theses groups and has experience with other artist who are well established and with those who aren’t. He has decided to path his own way and merged with Divers’CT a hip hop collective band from cape town and Paris in believing that working with international bands is what makes a world smaller and exciting in terms of exploring ones own creativity and expression.
