hey...I'm looking forward to your mix!!! In '91/'92 I actually didn't go to any parties, apart from the school disco in the clubhouse ;) In '95 I was infected by the jungle on the radio at night. That was my first jungle tape... and I still have it today and still listen to it every now and then... magnetic tape still works... you just have to rewind it in the recorder every few years and listen to it!!! 2 hours of OG 1992 hardcore jungle techno - A point in time between what was to come and what had been... I remember being back at hardcore raves on the Kent coast around this time and there was anxious discussion amongst the ravers about the change in the direction of the music. From the piano highs of Far Out and the togetherness of Some Justice to talk of the great Grooverider being booed for playing techno. 92 was a progressive, diverse and very creative year. This mix mashes together some of the styles of 92 and its not exactly true to my 92 but I can't do some of happier anthems these days - Not my finest hour mix wise in places but it does have its moments :) I had a huge stack of 1992 to choose from and I haven't played a lot of it much over the years tbh so I was caught out digging thru a couple of times - Plus a couple of 91s snuck in there
