Hot from her remix of Danny Tenaglia and Sasha Carassi’s ‘Automatik’, Magdalena returns to Renaissance with the sizzling ‘Globus EP’.

A diverse, three track odyssey, the project expertly stalks the deeper fringes of melodic techno, indie dance and electronica. Whether infectious title-track ‘Globus’, which very much sounds like a continuation of her Tenaglia / Carassi remix; the constant rise of ‘Aliferous’ , programming it’s way from a dark to light as its brooding opening expands into melodic sun; or ‘Anam Cara’, which switches gears into breakbeat drums, with a warm, chunky refrain, all confirm this is DJ and producer at the height of her powers.

Here's the preview of my upcoming EP on Diynamic Music.

The opening track “Mountains of Es Cubells” pays tribute to Ibiza’s after party culture – which occurs in private houses that open when the clubs close, out in the warm air and sunlight, and a very intimate atmosphere. The protagonist’s verdict “I think tonight I see Ibiza like it was 25 years ago” sums it up perfectly.
