Magdy Abdel-Rehim is a London based professional guitarist, vocalist and songwriter whose influences are as diverse as his heritage.  The only child of a Polish mother and an Egyptian father, Magdy’s earliest memories are soundtracked by the very best Blues and Rock from both sides of the pond.

Like many of his childhood heroes, Magdy started his musical career as a sideman to other artists where he gained vast experience and honed his stagecraft until the need to tell his own story (coupled with a prodigious talent on guitar and backing vocals that often outshone his paymasters) led him center stage.

Moving on, Magdy inevitably ventured into the previously uncharted waters of songwriting.  Locked away with an acoustic guitar and a pen, an intense and fruitful spell followed.  Magdy’s incredible vocals and guitar playing are the focal point as a session player and for his original outfits Cairo Son and Geomagnetist.

An advocate of exciting, honest, live performance Magdy leads with a rare blend of energy and experience.  Performing regularly all around London, the UK and worldwide, including the legendary Whiskey-a-go-go in Los Angeles, Magdy has years of live experience, is professional and delivers the very best in talent, performance and musicianship.
