Lord I've Strayed

I wrote “It’s a Hold Up” in the quiet hours of the night while everyone else was asleep. The song poured out like a secret — part confession, part metaphor. At its core, it’s about what it feels like to be cornered in love: hands up, heart exposed, not knowing if the person you trust will embrace you or pull the trigger.

It’s both dark and playful, mixing heartbreak with irony. The holdup isn’t just about a gun — it’s the way love can rob you of safety, demand everything, and still leave you wanting more. This demo captures that tension in its rawest form — unpolished, but alive.
