Magenta Sigh is a progressive rock/art rock band formed in 2010 in Kyiv, Ukraine. Precisely at that time the guitarist who was playing in the other band started to think about a new professional music group, which could play without stylistic restrictive, could love a diverse music and experiments in it.

He met a future vocalist, pianist and main composer of the band with the help of the Internet. Excellent understanding and desire to create more difficult material in the sense of a technique and melodic beauty had formed a basic skeleton of two people, which went through all changes of the composition and works nowadays.

The first two songs “Alien” and “Ego” was recorded on August 2011 in Umbrella records studio. 

Magenta Sigh consists of two musician, sound producers and sound engineers at the moment. On the 22th of March 2012 a demo track “Day goes by” was released with own forces and opened a new page in the forming of own musical character and sound of the band.
