Altar Records is so proud to finally unveil the eagerly awaited two new opuses from Profondita, titled "Eternal" and "Island".
The albums will be out June 25 and July 9th, 2021 respectively.

"Eternal" offers 6 new and unreleased tracks and one already released remix track from UCP.
The music is ranging from slow progressive chill-out to downtempo and containins 'Sun Dancer', a progressive trance track in the vein of Hudur's side project Blue Whirl, released on Altar Progressive:

Although we could have released a double-album anthology containing 14 emotional tracks, we thought it would be more interesting to gather them by style and feeling in order to make two different stories that complement each other.
"Eternal" gathers most of Hudur's unreleased material  while "Island", the second chapter, follows with more organic sounds and contains most of Profondita's tunes released on compilations over the last 3 years. They were all completely remastered in 24bit audio quality.

It's an honour to welcome Shantiago to the psybient.org podcast !

Shantiago is the electronic music project of Santiago Nieto. His work and intent is guided by the universe vibration, the love of music and the art of dancing.

As Dj, he started to play during mid-90s at clubs in Spain, delivering vertical and dancefloor oriented rhythms as techno and trance. Influenced by a versatile mindset, he started later to research a wider range of rhythms and felt in love with more calming sounds.

During all these years he has performed on different parts of the planet, either in clubs and festivals, aiming to move beyond any particular style. Nowadays he is exploring the production of slow trance vibes music, always seeking to a balance between eastern music traditions and modern technology.

This mix is a versatile musical journey flowing through different feelings and emotions.

KIKX has been exploring electronic music and dancefloors since 1994. He began djing Psytrance music in 2001 and started his own label Purple Hexagon Records in 2008, with the aim to promote the music and to collaborate with the artists he had been playing in his dj sets. The role of label manager has contributed to further expand his music knowledge, bringing his ear training to the next level and allowing him to gain a fresh and strong musical awareness. Kikx is mainly known for his psychedelic dj sets, in which he develops a groovy yet hypnotic twilight oriented journeys that keep the dancefloor up and dancing. However, over the years his music quest has expanded into diverse electronic music genres, bringing him to explore alternative stages at major worldwide festivals. From psychedelic techno to deep glitch, delightful downtempo and tribal beats, Kikx merges together alternative sounds in clean and well-constructed electronic journeys at a variety of BPMs, always accompanying his sets with his famous smile and enthusiastic dance moves. A digital nomad and a seasoned traveller, Purple Hexagon Label Manager Kikx has played at small and big festival across Asia, Australia, Europe and Central-America and is open for bookings worldwide.
