Blazej Malinowski - Probability (Dasha Rush Darker Shades Remix)

The sixth edition from the Exit Planet Earth vinyl series features another four track V/A courtesy of; Extrawelt, Djedjotronic, Ste Roberts and Ivna Ji. 

Extrawelt - Hail the Whale (Coexisting Version) is a welcome heavy weight addition to the EPE series from the highly respected German production team best known for their work on Cocoon Recordings, Traum, Kompakt and FMB. The track is an expertly crafted escape into electro with ever changing vocoders and synth sequences. 

After recent collaborations with The Hacker and Lokier French producer Djedjotronic provides dark funk electro in the shape of N.D.E that carves out a neo-futuristic soundscape with arpeggios and synths sweeps spiralling around drum programming that wouldn’t sound out of place on a Kraftwerk or Prince record. 

On the flip Hypercolour’s Ste Roberts continues a fine run of form with ‘The Rebirth’ - a glitch heavy break beat groove that evolves with a complex arrangement and alien sounds. Zagreb based producer Ivna Ji finishes off the record with a beautifully produced deep electro track called ‘Rescape’. This perfectly crafted composition sees Ivna explore echoed chords, robotic glitches and other world synths that ooze warmth and calm.
