During an eventful year, filled with new events at new venues, we did not forget about our oldest and most important passion: Curating music and listening to inspiring artists while still having the talent radar switched on to full power.
Just as afterhours are episodes, oscillating between rest and adventure, our channel has always tried to connect likeminded music-lovers while allowing for individual expeditions. This compilation is an expression of this as it contains productions of various electronic subgenres, reaching from Down- to Mid- up to House tracks.
Curated by our event-bumblebee, Maria Theresia von Eberg (MTvE), we found that a new wish and focus began to take its shape: To provide an opportunity for FLINTA acts to release their productions and encourage collaborations between experienced producers and newbies in this field: To provide an opportunity for FLINTA acts to release their productions and encourage collaborations between experienced producers and newbies within that field. We feel like this intention has successfully been achieved since more than 60% of the tracks have been created by FLINTAs alone or with FLINTA-participation.
