Immersing himself in the rich tapestry of the Catalan electronic landscape and the atmospheric vibes of Berlin downtempo, Arnau sculpted his unique sound. A melodic alchemist, he crafts slowhouse masterpieces infused with the spirit of diverse genres, all guided by his unmistakable groove.

Kośa is not just a soundsmith; he's a culinary maestro, concocting a rich blend of downtempo, acid house, and minimal//deep-tech, traversing the sonic spectrum at a languid pace of 80 to 120 beats per minute. 

His sonic alchemy produces electronic landscapes that are simultaneously structured and organic, weaving deep hypnotic meditative grooves and robust kicks. What sets Kośa apart is his infusion of Indian, Arabic, and other ethnic influences, giving birth to a genre he eloquently terms 'spiritual deeptech'—a musical odyssey conceived in the clandestine depths of India's underground scene.

Beyond the turntables, Tarun Jakhodia is the architect of Kosa Records. For him, this platform transcends the conventional; it's a realm where diverse ideas converge purely for the sake of art, eschewing the pursuit of social recognition.

It's a rebellion against the systematic exploitation of an artist's energy, a movement to rediscover the essence of the soul in synchronicity. As Tarun aptly puts it, "there are no limits, as there is no mind." In this space, creativity knows no boundaries, and the pursuit of art becomes a transcendental journey.

On this edition we welcome Esmaeili (@jan_sml) & ZHTA (@zhta)

Esmaeili (@jan_sml) and @zhta both come from West Germany, met in Istanbul and are based in Berlin. Ever since, they share a common love for downtempo music and various spheres of slower sounds.

This set is a live recording from the solidarity party for beloved Mensch Meier, in an effort to help the club survive a few more months before it sadly closes at the end of the year. Despite this sad background, it was a great pleasure for the couple to enjoy another sunny and sweaty Sunday afternoon in the Meier garden.

After a dark night of fast and straightforward techno, @esmaeili and @Zhta turned down the tempo and fired up the afterhour dancefloor for two fog and bass-heavy hours. Several wheat beers were emptied and people danced in little paddling pools. 

Thanks to all the wonderful dancers who took part, to @anselmus-berlin for the invitation and to the whole @menschmeier_berlin crew for making the magic happen all these years ♡

Juggling the realms of academia and artistry, Baghiu, a professor of Literary Theory at Lucian Blaga University in Sibiu, takes us on an extraordinary journey that transcends the boundaries of conventional expression.

As a poet, Baghiu penned his debut collection in 2013, weaving words into tapestries that echo the spirit of his homeland. But it's in the realm of music that his creativity truly takes flight. Enveloped in a myriad of projects, Baghiu's sonic explorations revolve around the fusion of minimal and electronic melodies with the evocative verses of both Romanian and foreign contemporary poets.

The anticipation builds as Baghiu unveils a magnum opus—an almost 4-hour vinyl-only recording session that promises to be an immersive experience like no other. This session is a testament to his commitment to pushing artistic boundaries and challenging the status quo.

The echoes of Baghiu's musical journey reverberate through time, starting with the release of his debut EP under the wings of Ponza Records in 2019, an Italian label curated by Hostox. In 2020, "Maine," released under groove.ro (Abel Soleil’s label), showcased his collaborative genius with Marcu Rares, leaving an indelible mark on the musical landscape.

Inunct Music, Verzila’s brainchild founded in 2020, has been the fertile ground for Baghiu's sonic experiments. Three EPs— "Cerulean," "Palimpsests vol. I," and "Palimpsests vol. II"—serve as glimpses into his diverse musical palette. Collaborating with luminaries like Lucide, Octave, Vlad Bretan, MTPS, Jemmi, and Papilla, Baghiu has woven a musical tapestry that spans labels such as NFS, Unknown Series, and Podvodo Records.

As Ştefan Baghiu prepares to unleash his 4-hour vinyl-only session, listeners are invited to join him on this kaleidoscopic journey where poetry and music dance together, creating an experience that transcends time and space. With the fusion of German and Chilean essence they bring a vibrant presence to the stage and put your hearts to dance - preferably under a soap bubble rain. 

Creating their own sounds by modifying field recordings and vocals with dynamic effects, combined with synths and organic beats, has led them to release their EPs and tracks on labels like Mystic Tales, down., Underyourskin Records, Monada, KataHaifisch and Serafin Audio Imprint. 

Their Sets are rooted in organic grooves - adorned with some shades of darkness, enjoying the flow between the genres Organic House, Melodic Techno and Indie Dance.

The musical journey of Saymon aka. Sneffinsky has been a ride full of surprising, mind expanding moments and beautiful memories over the past years which is in itself a reflection of his bigger journey of life as a whole and continues with an ongoing flow of organic interplay. 

While having his more solid bases in Cologne and Berlin, Sneffinsky also embodies the free spirit of a migratory bird and can often be found in many other parts of this beautiful world throughout the year following the universal flow that this life has to offer to him.

Through his travels and his affinity for other cultures, Sneffinsky has been living in various subcultures over the years and therefore come into contact with many different musical genres. This is reflected in the musical diversity of his DJ sets, which can vary a lot in its roots, its speed and the overall mood. Whether it is a fiery club gig, a vibrant & bouncy festival day rave or a groovy sundowner session on a remote place near the ocean, there is one thing all of his sets have in common: They always come with personal intention & result in a unique and deep journey through sound & mind for the listeners and Saymon himself.

The creative expression through music plays a crucial part of processing events and emotions throughout the different phases of his life. The biggest inspiration for Saymon has always been nature. And by sharing this synergy of nature and music with the crowd through sonic composition, Sneffinsky creates room for connection to the deeper self and the life force that unifies all of us living creatures.

Arturo is a multifaceted artist, known equally for his prowess as a DJ, selector, curator, and event organizer. His passion for his craft is palpable in every endeavor he undertakes, driven by a profound love for the art of music.

Hailing originally from the Caucasus region, Arturo's lineage is a colorful tapestry of Gypsy, Belarusian, Ukrainian, and Russian heritage. His journey in music began at a tender age when he migrated to Germany as a young child. It was there, amidst the vibrant cultural landscape, that he took his first tentative steps into the world of rhythm and melody, his tiny feet dancing to the beats emanating from the screens of MTV and Viva.

While his musical tastes initially spanned a broad spectrum, Arturo's affinity for gritty, pulsating sounds soon emerged. It was during his time at the University of Heidelberg and amidst the electric atmosphere of Saarbrücken's techno scene that he found his true calling in synthetic and psychedelic sounds.

Since those formative years, Arturo has been a fixture behind the decks at numerous open-air events, raves, and club gatherings in and around Mannheim and Heidelberg. His involvement in various youthful rave collectives marked the beginning of a journey that would lead him to the forefront of the electronic music scene.

A pivotal moment in Arturo's career came with his association with the creative music collective "Slow Bar" and his residency at Frankfurt's esteemed event series, "Kabinett der Kuriositäten." These experiences further honed his skills and expanded his artistic horizons, paving the way for his relocation to Berlin.

In Berlin's dynamic musical landscape, Arturo has left an indelible mark, gracing the stages of renowned clubs such as "Klunkerkranich," "Beate Uwe," "Remise," and the legendary "Kater Blau." His sonic palette defies categorization, blending elements of Slowrave, Flowwave, Ketapop, and a myriad of other genres into a seamless tapestry of sound.

For Arturo, there are no rules in the realm of music, only boundless creativity and limitless expression. His sets are a testament to this philosophy, weaving together moments of magic with pulsating, progressive beats. From smashy and sexy grooves to trippy soundscapes and bumpy drum patterns, Arturo's signature style is characterized by its versatility and innovation.
