After yet another January storm, the wind finally abated just after sunset. The weather had been particularly miserable this winter, and now that the snow has melted, the whole enchanted forest had become soggy and swampy. After being clouded for over a week, the sky finally cleared up, just in time to see the near-full moon rise over the eastern horizon. 
Hekske (the little witch) and Falke (the 10-year old witch apprentice) welcomed their friend Quintine, who had woken up from a 414 year hibernation a couple of months ago. The witches huddled together while watching the bright moon, which had a rare blue glow that night. 
After some time, Falke looked around and saw a faint light in the distance. Apparently there were more visitors on the way. Given the fact that none of the spotter owls had raised the alarm, the witches knew that they had nothing to fear from these visitors. The light came closer and closer, and after a while they could see that there were actually several lights. 
Finally they could see the contours of their visitor, a bearded man with a long cloak and a cone hat. This was obviously a wizard.
The man took of his hat and greeted the witches politely. He introduced himself as Eoin, the Irish wizard of light. And he was not alone. He was accompanied by 8 young wizard apprentices who were all carrying glowing crystals. The boys launched a myriad of floating lights in a circle around the clearing. And all mushrooms started to glow, each in a slightly different color. Eoin smiled and announced solemnly that this is the festival of lights, a ceremony which he is performing every year in January, to chase away the darkness of winter and make the forest ready for Spring.
The wizard gave 3 crystals to the witches, who held it in the palm of their hands. The crystal of Falke had a subtle yellow glow, while Hekske’s crystal had a mesmerizing pinkish glow. And Quintine’s crystal emitted a purple pulsing light. Intuitively, the 3 witches came together and brought their hands close together. And this had an amazing effect on the 3 crystals, which now really came alive. The witches just couldn’t believe their eyes …

💭 Ein Festival wird maßgeblich hinter den Kulissen getragen. Doch wer stellt schon diese Fragen? Keiner, wenn es wie ein Uhrwerk läuft. Denn dann ist am Ende auch niemand enttäuscht. Also lasst uns kurz innehalten und all jenen gedenken, die sich einsetzen und ihre Energie den Festivals dieser Welt selbstlos spenden.

👨‍🎤 Man nehme sphärische Melodien, wabernde Basslines und knackige Claps. Würze das Ganze mit psychedelischen Synths und streue ein paar vocodergetränkte Stimmen darüber.
Et voilà: Es entsteht eine köstliche Komposition, geeignet für diverse Anlässe und Gelegenheiten. Fulica Acktras Sets erschaffen eine malerische Klanglandschaft, irgendwo zwischen Exosphäre, verwunschenem Wald und 80s-„La Dolce Vita“-Diskothek. Langsam, aber irgendwie schnell zugleich.

Ihr kennt das, wir haben Freitag und der Körper verlangt nach einem leckeren Sound-Menü, das sich langsam entfaltet und uns auf die nächste Etappe des Wochenendes vorbereitet, ja uns förmlich hineinschmelzen lässt. Unsere musikalische Delikatesse von @aka_tony soll genau das mit euch tun: mit sphärischem Downtempo, Slowtech und zartem Slow Disco schnappt er sich eure aufmerksamen Lauscher und fließt mit euch wie ein überragendes, schmelzendes Schokoladenfondue davon. 🍫

🌹Aber Achtung, hier geht es nicht um den schnellen Zucker-Rush! aka-tonys Set ähnelt eher einer Slow Burn Romanze: langsam, erst zaghaft, aber mit zunehmender Leidenschaft und Präsenz - man weiß wo es hingeht, aber ist dennoch völlig hin und weg und kann einfach nicht anders, als sich der Reise hinzugeben. Der Flow erinnert ein wenig an ein immersives 6-Gänge Dinner in the Dark, bei dem unsere Geschmackssinne (oder Hörsinne) scharfsinnig auf die feinsten Nuancen gepolt werden, abgerundet von einer Weinbegleitung, die sich wohlig wie eine zweite Haut an den Körper anschmiegt. Hach, hier gehört ihr einfach hin und ein „morgen“ gibt es erst einmal nicht, höchstens vielleicht um die Reise erneut anzutreten.

Ein echtes Erlebnis für alle, die sich nicht mit schnellem Fast-Food-Sound zufrieden geben, sondern den langsamen, geduldigen slow-burn Genuss suchen. Für alle, die beim Hören lieber die Zeit anhalten als sie durchdrehen zu lassen, ist aka-tonys Set wie eine kulinarische Verführung für die Ohren. Bon Appetit! ❤️‍🔥
