Tokyo-via-London duo An Toi have been gaining prominence as exciting representatives of Tokyo's boundless music scene. Their signature cosmic and hypnotic sound comes through again in our Magic Mixtape series, effortlessly moving through leftfield house, techno, trance and beyond.

"I love deep tech" is back with round II just in time for the winter solstice. As requested - twice as long and twice as funky (but split over two hours, so not too funky) and of course deep. 

In a sense a highlight reel of 2024s search for the perfect afterparty records. Fun, weird, a bit emo, uplifting but also chill : Somewhere in-between and barely cracking 110bpm.

Virtual Utopia's 16th sonic simulation has been programmed by Cardiff's own sonic scientist Tywi (@tywi) - one of the founding members of record label and party series Haŵs (@hawsmusic). This update is a 2-hour, perfectly paced journey exploring natures charming perfection. Drifting through mellow downtempo intwined with a infectious mycelial groove, and glossy day-dreamers layered with sheets of floating iridescence. Plants dancing in a rythmic symbiosis to the warming basslines and low-slung drum breaks. A soundtrack to orange suns, soft touches and calming energies. Sit and be here... there is plenty of room to breathe.
