In this Festival Frequency episode we can hear two mixes, the first by DJ AXEL and the second by DJ ORION, representing the soundscapes of FANTASIA FESTIVAL taking place July 7-9 in Umbria, Italy. Following the first mix, we will be chatting with Axel, who is also one of the founders of Fantasia, a little bit about the festival before listening to the second mood-making set. Axel is an electronic music DJ, producer, mainly of Psytrance, and an events planner, who after discovering the world of underground psytrance parties at a young age, quickly starts his own journey in it. In 2014 he founded the Freaky Circus crew, hosting and sharing the stage with artists from all over the world. Axel loves the day as well as the night, the sun as well as the moon, which is why his selections range from the darkest to the brightest sounds! After years attending festivals and free parties around Europe, with the intention of realising his ideal festival, in 2018 he founded the Fantàsia Festival project. DJ Orion also started his life adventure through the psytrance music world early on, and in 2008, he becomes a part of the Quarion tribe, a group of friends who already organizing parties, he starts playing and mixing, creating his own personality and music style.  leading him to play at many international parties all over Italy, where every time his set and music is greatly appreciated by the crowd.

Cosmicleaf Records presents KICK BONG with a studio mix showcasing the wide diversity in the artist's catalog. Franck aka Kick Bong is a musician, performer and composer born in Paris. In 1990 he formed his first band as a drummer. Signed with Barclay, he takes part in many concerts and tours in France and Europe. In 1995 he discovered electronic music in 2001, after which his compositions get released on compilations of various labels: Spirit Zone, Candyflip, Peak, Hoots, Chillcode, Cosmicleaf, Ultra Vista, Hadra, Ajana, Sonic Motion Blue Hour Sound. In 2009 he composed the music for websites Dior and Eden Park. Parallel, he mixes in many Paris clubs, such as Batofar, Triptych, Divan du Monde, Gibus, Glaz'art, Dame de Canton, Cabaret Sauvage, Machine du Moulin Rouge.

A visionary musical project that provides a perfect soundtrack for intentional inner expeditions.Behind 'Noosfære' is the Danish musician and producer Jesper Skovgaard. He holds a Masters Degree in the field of Sound and Music Computing and has been playing guitar for as long as he can remember. He spend his youth as a guitarist in a progressive rock band before eventually getting more and more into synthesizers and thereby sucked into the spiral of electronic music production. The live set contains Noosfære's new single Memoria, some unreleased and some older tracks as well.

This is "Chapter II" of a story that probably has endless chapters. It's the story about music that touches me.

I find elements especially in ambient and downtempo music that always give me the same feeling of inner peace. Something that isn't always easy to find. And I learned that there are different ways and there is different music that can bring me to the same place.

El Batos is a DJ who was born on the dancefloor. With music in his heart and dance in his pulse, he picks you up where your higher consciousness begins to surf sound waves. His sound is creative, playful, melodic & hypnotic at the same time, with a rich depth. Deep basses meet warm pads, complex rhythms meet loving vocals. The aim is always to take you on a journey of sounds, emotions and endless moments, always with an ace up their sleeve and a surprise up their sleeve. 
 
El Batos is known above all for his loving downtempo sets & regularly plays at well-known festivals in Germany such as the Moyn or Fusion & clubs such as the Kater are now also on his list. Jorma organised his first small parties almost 10 years ago, has been working as a floor manager at festivals for years & has been organising a stage at New Healing since last year.  
He also likes to be active at conscious events & enjoys playing Ecstatic & Cacao Dances, helping with booking or the technical production of events.
