On this track I am having fun with social media friendships. So often, by choice or by chance, we accept friend connections with people who do no know face to face. We follow their social media presence, like their posts, and often comment on what they are doing or what they are thinking. And yes, when prompted, we wish them Happy Birthday. And, oh so often, we do not really know who they are. So  while often ongoing and interpersonal, are these friendships  'superficial'?
