My lyrics and a long prompt got 30 seconds from Udio, adding 4 more sections and pruning them down to what I was looking for. My first collaboration with an AI is quite professional sounding stuff that I could not have played or sung this well. I think this is a song that I made since I wrote the lyrics and the long prompt and made many desicions all the way from the start to the finished song. This will probably become the most used way to make nice shiny tracks for mass consumption next year, but I think that handmade music will be made because it is nice to do and the machine is a ...machine. ... maybe... but there is still time to dream!
