We met the Chainsmokers 3 years ago when they Dj'd a warehouse party we threw in Brooklyn. They played for $500, which at the time was about half their normal rate….. Hey hey! We're sorry this remix was late getting up here on SoundCloud but it was completely out of our hands! Anyways, Dada Life are one of the first electronic music duos who really blew us away when we started Young Bombs. Their production and talent is just next level and they always seem to stay one step ahead of everyone else. So needless to say, getting this opportunity to remix them is still pretty surreal and we're thankful they thought of us!

Although it's only coming out now, this remix was made the day after we finished our 'Weekend Millionaires' remix...so, sometime in April. We were both in a really happy, positive headspace when we made it and we think those emotions really come through in the music. We wanted to make a summertime, progressive house remix but add some twists to it. We gave the verses an island/tropical vibe and the drop a unique groove with the bassline. Hope you feel it, or it will be your last night on Earth.

On hearing Troye’s track, ‘Wild’ for the first time, I instantly fell in love with the vocals and I immediately saw the potential for this remix. I really wanted to capture the power and emotion of his voice whilst adding a more melodically driven, upbeat emphasis to the song. I think this song takes my sound in a slightly new direction with more prominence on catchy piano riffs and deep house influences while still retaining the characteristics of the ‘Hibell’ sound.
