After experimenting with FL Studio's newly added stem separation on some of the tracks I've always wanted to remix, the vocal on this one came out alright. I then started playing about with the M1's classic house piano sound over the top and well one thing led to another and here we are :) 

One of my favourite tracks of all time was a big Baby D fan back in the day - they even played at a nightclub in my hometown called Goldiggers in 1992 however I was only 9 years old (the live recording was released on the So Pure CD single though which I was thrilled about!) so I had a lot of fun with this - the original is 135 bpm and with the uplifting chords/piano a Duane Barry mix felt about right

A time when life was full of endless possibility and my interest and passion for electronic music was going full-throttle as I began to discover and understand what seperated quality EDM from the rest. MAgnes K:  Having been in the EDM scene since before it was a scene, MAgnes K is well versed in the art of Djing and quality electronic music.  Recently moving from strictly Trance to Techno & Deep Progressive, and then eventually ending up at Progressive Breaks, MAgnes K is pursuing this little known genre within the EDM world.  With inspiration coming from his mother and best friend during his early days of learning the art of DJing, Michael Lathrop, aka DJ Driven, MAgnes K has devised a project called ‘The Book of Breaks’ that showcases different styles of Progressive Breaks by incorporating them into stories and themed chapters.  These extensively worked, researched and produced sets will contain some of the best productions by some of the best artists in the Progressive Breaks arena.  With his years of experience and taste for exceptionally good music, MAgnes K will be supporting and promoting one of his favorite styles of EDM for the foreseeable future.
