We are back for the summer season after a short break. Joining us for Vol. 43 to kick off the warmer weather is none other than the legendary godfathers of chillout, The Orb, aka Alex Patterson. Patterson has assembled a lovely and very Orbish mix that fans are sure to play on repeat. If you are new to The Orb, well, let's just say you have a cavernous amount of audio exploring to do as the catalog is quite extensive. Patterson has also announced three new projects for 2021, a new label, a new album, and a biography that takes you through his fascinating and wonderful career to date. Giannis Papaioannou (aka ION) is a sound artist, musician & DJ active in the Athens underground scene. ION’s dubby electronica is the sort of music one may hear (and see!) when closing their eyes while being amidst the noisy downtown center of a metropolis; the sound of a never-ending summer; a grand sound-and-vision spectacle at the private theater of those who can still dream on.
