The EP takes subtle cues from his two homelands: the crescent moon and star of the Tunisian flag meet the blue-and-white rhythm of the Greek stripes, creating a sonic flag of its own—flowing between melancholic reflection and radiant groove. The title Please Don’t Cry is both a plea and a provocation—expressed through textured techno, playful minimalism, and raw emotion. Each track on the EP is a snapshot of feeling—funky, intelligent, and rooted in storytelling. While his genre-fluid approach reflects a shifting emotional state, Bouzidi’s signature remains clear: abstract yet infectious, meditative yet made for the floor. PREMIERE: Bouzidi - Please Don't Cry [Ritmo Futuro]

James and Archie are My Friend, a duo that blurs the line between house, techno, and prog with refined synth craft and poignant melodies inspired by Last Night On Earth boss Sasha. Their exhilarating, sophisticated sounds are featured on labels like Anjunadeep and Nothing Else Matters, and for the opener here, they collaborate with fellow melodic maestro Steven Weston. He's an engineer, keyboardist, songwriter, producer, and live artist who has made his mark on the likes of Anjunadeep and Bedrock. Together, they serve up 'Fast Times', a club-ready prog house weapon that is full of promise from the very first moment. It's an emotive sound that builds towards a euphoric peak, with entrancing vocals peeking through, sparking melodies, radiant chords that bring the heat, and sweeping filters that all fall away to reveal a bold bassline and bouncy groove. My Friend then go solo with 'Face Lift', a widescreen sound with deft synths panning about the mix, lush melodies bringing cosmic scale and expressive vocal stabs that turbocharge the groove. It's the sort of peak time cut that submerges the dancefloor in wave after wave of emotion as it constantly evolves and shifts the energy. Last but not least, 'Dave The Rave ft The Pressure' is a hands-in-the-air, trance-tinged prog masterclass with an indie vocal floating amidst widescreen pads that leave to pure emotional release.

Lost Boy is a DJ, producer, and founder of For The People, a label and event brand focused on precise, quality-driven electronic music. As an organizer, he has presented Senseless in Toronto, an immersive festival held at Evergreen Brickworks on July 9, 2016—featuring headline sets by Tube & Berger, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs (DJ set), Rodriguez Jr. (live), Frivolous (live), Isolée (live), Frank & Tony, Taimur & Fahad, supported by Talal & Zoi, Lost Boy, Saqib, and Sam Jaspersohn. He also curated events under For The People at Second Floor Events in Toronto, showcasing acts such as Stavroz and extended the concept to New York City.

His production work appears on respected labels including Bar25, Seven Villas, Sol Selectas, and Warung. In a previous duo project, he released on Dirtybird, Kindisch, Traum, and Rawthentic, reflecting a sound that spans deep, melodic, and groove-oriented electronic music.

As a live performer, he has played in a dozen major cities: Toronto, Montreal, New York City, Medellín, Cartagena, Lima (Peru), Lisbon, London, Berlin, Heidelberg, Bangkok, Lahore, and Karachi. He has opened for established artists such as HVOB, Stimming, and Rodriguez Jr, consistently delivering sets that merge live instrumentation with electronic arrangements. Trained in classical sitar, he incorporates the instrument into his performances, forging a distinctive interplay between traditional textures and modern electronic production.

Beyond his musical career, he leads as captain of the Canadian Tent-Pegging national team. He travels internationally for competitions and is preparing to compete in the Tent-Pegging World Cup, demonstrating discipline and leadership in both athletic and artistic arenas.

Lights Out brings you an exclusive premiere from one of techno's legends and XL Recordings artist Liquid. Making his debut on French taste-making label Tripalium Corp, his new EP is the latest addition to the label's Rave Series, which is focused on prime time rave music. With anthems like Sweet Harmony and Liquid Is Liquid under his belt, it's a safe bet he knows a thing or two about making quality records. Case in point: 'Sick On Synthetics'. 

After a short intro, a huge hoover synth cuts in and it's time to party. Bits of acid, tough punchy drums and a touch of '90s nostalgia come together to form a certified hammer. But, just when you thought you had the track figured out, a moment of blissful pads comes in to give you a quick break from the madness that kicks right back in only a few seconds after.
