when i cut my hair for the first time on my 24th birthday in 2011 -- it was scary and empowering at the same time and that's exact way I feel about today as i release my first mixtape. it's like I'm cutting my hair off for the first time all over again -- it's so revealing. so personal. a lot of people don't know who I really am or how I really feel inside and I think this project does a good job illustrating that. that which makes me nervous but at the same time I know it will be a liberating feeling once it's out there.

i'm not hiding who i am anymore -- I'm too awesome to continue to do that.
