It's finally here: Francesco Pico's fourth album 'Perpetual E-Motion'!

Pico decided to record and release singles from the project not only in real time (as they were completed) but also in the order they would appear on the album’s final tracklist, A daunting task as Francesco notes, “The real challenge of doing the album this way was to stick with the story. Releasing a single regularly was important so I was forced to stick to the plan, putting it away for a while and checking later if it was correct was not possible due to the deadlines of the scheduled singles. I just had to continue with what I had at the time, kind of like the old days of recording where you also captured the sound at the time of recording and had to deal with it. This was kind of refreshing for me, which I liked”. It’s this unique and inventive approach to rethink our industry’s infrequently challenged ways that has resulted in a year-plus lead up to the twenty-three track epic ‘Perpetual E-Motion’.

Francesco Pico shows us a first glimpse of his fourth artist album by releasing episode 0 of 'Perpetual E-Motion' on his newly found Magnitude Chill label, bundling the ambient and downtempo songs all together.

Keep an eye out for the next episodes, as the dancefloor tracks will be released on his Magnitude Recordings label, two at a time.

Eventually all 'Perpetual E-Motion' songs will be connected and released as a continuous piece of music.

Esteban Ikasovic is one of those artists which came out of the blue but you see all over the place nowadays. And there's a reason for that of course, because the Argentinian producer is simply very skilled! Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint opens the Spring season by presenting the fifth installment of it's 'Correlation' series. Released in August of 2017, the inaugural edition featured a unique blend of untapped talent along with industry veterans, resulting in a cohesive fusion of artists from across the world. The label's borderless music policy was also well represented, showcasing a wide spectrum of electronica, from organic house to melodic house and deeper progressive grooves. Released in 2020, the label's third edition landed with resounding success, as the lead selection 'Kafka' by Ercos Blanka racked up over two and a half million Spotify plays across the year. In past editions, Sound Avenue has kept the track selection concise, with an average of just ten submissions making the final release. The continued growth of label affiliates 3rd Avenue, Crossfade Sounds, and Future Avenue have propelled the label's demo submissions exponentially across the last year. Add to that, a continually expanding music policy, and the 2022 edition of 'Correlation' was finalized with a hefty thirty-two selections. Added to the label's club-centric sounds are shades of electronica, dubbed out techno, and more, making the fifth installment of the series it's most far-reaching and satisfying to date.

Australia based George Alhabel makes his MNL debut with three tasty, uplifting progressive house cuts.

The Sydney based artist entered the scene not even two years ago, but already made quite a name for himself with a couple of stunning releases on labels such as Mango Alley, One Of A Kind and 3rd Avenue to name a few.

The maturity of his productions shines thru once again when listening to his 'Solar Attachment EP'. This guy just seems to be getting better and better! Definitely a name to watch.

Francesco Pico's Perpetual E-Motion album comes to a climax here with the fourth episode which includes the songs Perpetual E-Motion and The Way We Used To.

A unique concept: creating an album two songs at a time, releasing them in pairs before unleashing the complete collection. As we speak Francesco himself doesn't even know how the album will end. What we do know however is that we've reached the peak time moment right here with these two songs. 

Perpetual E-Motion instantly captivates with its uplifting arpeggiated melody and catchy vocals. Truly one for a proper moment of dance floor euphoria. 

The Way We Used To Do is a clever throwback to the heyday of progressive house; the late 90's / early 00's. An easy task for Francesco as he's been releasing music since 1996 himself.

Another great teaser for what's to come.. this album is shaping up to be a unique piece of art!

Magnitude Recordings was started by @francescopico in 2005. The label quickly gained international recognition in the tech house- and progressive house scenes, working with well respected artists such as Eelke Kleijn (as Backroom Boyz, a collab with Francesco Pico himself), Ferreck Dawn, Roell Sapphire, Harold Heath and Camiel Daamen to name a few, which gained a lot of DJ support. 

After a seven year hiatius the label returned in 2018 under de wings of the @manual-music record company. Freshly revamped and serving as a home for the sound Francesco Pico loves most; intelligent, groovy and rolling progressive house. Kamilo Sanclemente, Not Demure, Ewan Rill, K Loveski, Golan Zocher, Callecat, Jaap Ligthart, Paul Hazendonk and Ric Niels are a small cross-section of the artists that call Magnitude Recordings their home nowadays, making Magnitude a brand operating at the forefront of the modern day progressive house scene.
