The Devil jumped the Tyne at the Mill Knock Rock
He hung his Granny 
With an iron chain
He snuck into the kitchen
In the body of a thief
And he never went to sleep again

Their spartan dreams
Would curdle
With the weight of his hand
In the dark, snowbound forest
That surrounded the gorge
In the half-light
Of Winter's grin
Singin'
"Let me in,
…Or just in case
Leave my pack
By the fireplace"

The man in the casket
Whistled this tune
As he smelled the slaughter
On the gibbous moon - he went;

A large bird is hiding behind the branches and leaves of a tall tree. I sense the bird's presence clearly.
