"Ben Men and Rob Malone are Raw Analog Funk and they head up this label as well as being known as multifaceted artists, DJs, record dealers, producers and party promoters. They have been active and shaping the scene since the 90s and produced the legendary BTRAX parties at Rex Club, which also later became a seminal label, and have been behind some key record stores, including Statik and Basement Trax Records, over the years. This new EP is "dedicated to the Cidade Maravilhosa" First up is 'Pepper’, a low-slung and organic house groove with funky bass guitar riffs and elastic rhythms, wordless coos add some soul and the live drums come alive with jazzy piano chords to make for something uplifting and party starting. The fantastic 'Sangue bom' then rides on more infectious and organic disco-tinged house grooves that are peppered with twanging riffs and big hits as the languid bassline keeps things moving down low. Parisian house producer Ten Fingerz from Frappé Records is an artist who draws on Afro, Jazz, French touch, 90s grooves and much more. He is an insatiable vinyl collector and masterful DJ well-known for sets all over Europe. His remix is alive with rich instrumentation and busy lead guitars, jumbled percussion and vibrant melodies that all tap into good times. Then comes a remix from Carioca, self-taught multi-instrumentalist Pinaud. He is a well-established musician and DJ in Rio de Janeiro with credits on labels like Manga Rosa and Barco do Amor. His track is a steamy one with erotic vocal coos and a big breakdown, synths that tease and please, and rising energy that will get hands in the air."

Making two glorious returns to the Shores imprint are Axxound and Lumidelic, who deliver their takes on the truly gorgeous 'Colours Of Life EP' from Slovakian masterminds Mark & Lukas.

Originally released with us late last year by this dynamic duo, we were eager to see these melodic gems get a personal touch from some other well known talents at Emergent. 'Colours Of Life' received a truly uplifting take from Axxound, pushing a full on chuggy summer progressive style that resonates perfectly with the original journey of this track. 'The Echo Of The Mountain' gets a beautiful rendition delivered from label veteran Lumidelic, who takes this track in his own direction in every sense, delivering a true masterpiece and once again proving why he is quickly becoming a front running artist here at the Shores imprint.

Being a hot number on the scene over the past years, we feel privileged to welcome back Italy's finest when it comes melodic progressive music as Richard Bass yet again returns to our PHW division. With a string of release on the label, gaining support from leading names in the business, we of course welcome him back with his new baby “See Beyond”. 

As always you are to be in for a treat, as he goes in full flare with his trademark uplifting melodic arrangements and fresh pumping summer vibes. It’s always a great blend from him, that definitely is to take you places and remind you of the summer sunsets and lazy days on the beach.

We also see the return of Poland based producer Bee Hunter, a producer that has been with us many times over the years as he deliver the first out of the two remixes on this release. It’s as vibrant and relaxing as always from Bee Hunter, focusing on clear soundscapes, dreamy melodic arrangements and that fresh touch he always keeps on his music. It’s another stunning one from him! 

Last but not least we see another familiar producer on the label, as Greek producer Fiben once again delivers on remix duty. He’s spoilt us on many releases with his skilled piece of music, and here is another one keeping the fresh summer vibes alive. He goes slightly deeper and more relaxing than before but the depth and blend of melodies kept on the track makes this another sensation from the Greece bound producer. We are always happy to see him join back on the label with his well selected renditions.
