Let's meet our DJ, for episode 659, Kay-S:

Kay-S is co-founder, DJ, and artist of the lauded Refuge Nights in St. Petersburg, Florida; a monthly Drum & Bass and Jungle night focusing on the deeper end of the genre as an authentic, thoughtfully curated, music-centric dark-room experience. He is also a resident DJ, Designer and Promoter for the collective: A Night of Drum & Bass Tampa Bay (ANODNB), a staple in the community with over a decade of producing events in the Tampa Bay area. Kay-S also hosts a monthly radio show on Subtle Radio called Underscore_. The show is based on his popular Underscore_ mix series and also features guest mixes from artists such as Homemade Weapons, Red Army, 88 Katanas, among others. The show airs every first Monday of the month at 9pm Eastern.

Many years ago I looked into doing a mix or 2 of my favourite artist of all time. I grew up on Michael Jackson from his Jackson 5 days then, of course, his solo work. With 2 parts to this, i have selected over 60 tracks from the albums Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous, HIStory, Blood On The Dancefloor, Michael & Xscape and twisted the sequence to work up the BPM's. I was so shocked to find this one off cassette recording... I used to love playing at this club all those years ago and actually played at a Passion Reunion in 2011. This is a great example of a 1992 regular club night! The mixing is by no means perfect but I hope you enjoy the experience all the same...
