Ruffex Records is a sub label of the mighty Ruffneck Records 🇳🇱 Founded by Patrick van Kerckhoven (aka DJ Ruffneck/Ectomorph) as a home for his own unique sound, which would later come to be known as 'artcore'.

Breakbeats have always played a very important part in all releases on the label and combined with tearing Juno synths and heavily distorted kick drums it has left its permanent impression on the entire hardcore scene.

The label ran from 1995-1997 and released 12 eps. All of the releases are in this mix, I’ve been slowly putting my collection together over the last couple of years & this is the first time I’ve included all releases from a label in a mix. The label is that good.
