Here's part 1 of my deep dive into one of my favourite D&B labels of all time, Back 2 Basics! Set up by JB aka Jason Ball in 1993, the label would run to 2008 with nearly 100 vinyl releases and more albums, mix CDs etc. Being a midlands lad myself I have grown up with this label and bought everything I could 96 onwards. 

The label released music from JB, Spice, Dred Bass, Twisted Individual, Decoder, Ascend, Ned Ryder and loads more and was a really important part of my teenage years as a DJ and raver! Enjoy this look into their 94/95 releases...

This tune, this tune right here is where it's at, I think I hit a sweet spot with this one.
I tried to get the amens to be as heavy as possible, I was tired of my bass constantly being really soft in my tunes so in this one I amped it up to a good amount, but not too much. Once again all sounds from the Akai S2000 controlled by Renoise. Really enjoyed making it, this sampler is amazing, hope you enjoy listening to it!
