ਦੀਨ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਦਰ ਕਮੰਦਿ ਆਂ ਪਰੀ ਰੁਖ਼ਸਾਰਿ ਮਾ
ਦੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਸਾਡੇ ਉਸ ਪਰੀ-ਚਿਹਰਾ ਦੋਸਤ ਦੀ ਫਾਹੀ ਵਿਚ ਹਨ ।
Both the religion and the actions of the world are in the grip of my beloved, handsome and fairy-faced friend.

ਹਰ ਦੋ ਆਲਮ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਯੱਕ ਤਾਰਿ ਮੂਇ ਯਾਰਿ ਮਾ ॥ ੨ ॥ ੧ ॥
ਦੋਵੇਣ ਜਹਾਨ ਸਾਡੇ ਯਾਰ ਦੇ ਇਕ ਵਾਲ ਦੇ ਮੁਲ ਬਰਾਬਰ ਹਨ ।

ਯੱਕ ਨਿਗਾਹਿ ਜਾਂ-ਫਿਜ਼ਾਇਸ਼ ਬਸ ਬਵਦ ਦਰਕਾਰਿ ਮਾ ॥ ੨ ॥ ੨ ॥
ਉਸਦੀ ਇੱਕੋ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਜਿਹੜੀ ਉਮਰਾਣ ਵਧਾ ਦਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਬਥੇਰੀ ਹੈ ।
