“A.Morgan returns to our label. The Manchester artist presents his next EP titled "Flesh", with 3 techno tracks and an ambient. The EP opens with “Static”, a drone / ambient track with a wide range of sounds processed with delays and reverbs creating open an soundscape. The second track is "Shimmer", direct bass, kick drum and sharp high hats, all this coupled with a melody and clean airs that fill the entire room. The third is "Flesh", the track that gives the EP its name, a very effective DJ tool where the whole sounds play with the main melody, without a doubt a winning horse. The EP closes with "Sidewinder", an overwhelming groove takes us fully into this techno journey, perfect for transitions.”

Tunisian label Warok Music drop the third part of the ‘Ponorogo’ VA series featuring tracks from Clotur & JC Laurent, Blenk & Ruhbarb, Moteka & Shekon and Eyth & Hearthug.

Launched in 2016 as the first Tunisian experimental techno label, Warok Music has become a consistent source of transportive music and a platform for its founders to express their respective sounds. Committed to pushing boundaries and connecting scenes with each release, Warok signs artists from many scenes and musical approaches. In all their work, the label heads Eyth, Osse and Clotur threads a heady narrative and distinctive sonic palette. In the Ponorogo series, Warok is continuing revealing the story behind the label which is inspired by the fascinating Indonesian culture. The real name of Warok is coming from a traditional Indonesian ceremony ‘Reog Ponorogo’, in which they tell the story of a mythical battle between the King of Ponorogo, and the magical lion-like creature called Singa Barong.

French artist JC Laurent returns to label with a hypnotic cut in collaboration with label co-founder Coltur entitled ‘The Vault’ featuring syncopated, spacious rhythms, zappy synths revolving underneath the reverberating bass grooves before Enemy Records’ Blenk & Materia’s Ruhbarb join to create a shimmering techno roller in the form of ‘Day One’ which pulsates with breaky drums and rubbery modulations.

On the flip, Skrypton’s Moteka & Shekon provide a psychedelic experience within ‘Gallia’ featuring tunneling oscillations, rising synths and undulating effervescence taking you on an otherworldly trip until label boss Eyth & Hearthug round things off with ‘Patchworks’ which offers up acid squelches, alleviating, angelic pads and scattered, broken percussion which keeps the enthralling energy flowing until the end.
