The most poetically arousing description of the meeting of two coherent hearts, the lines get adorned with even more grace and beauty since it describes the first meeting of Lord Rama and Sita. Kambar's lines "annaLum nOkkinAn, avaLum nOkinAL" are legendary ! TNS renders this excerpt from Kamba rAmAyanam in the rAgam hamIrkalyAni. A wonderful experience to drown in the rich fragrance and flavor of rich Tamil prosody. 
Before Rama meets Sita, Vishwamitrar instructs him to look at the bow first. Then, he looks up, their eyes swallow each other (kaNN Odu kaninai kavvi...) and their hearts merged in feelings (unarvum onridaa...) they both saw each other (annalum nokkinaan, avalum nokkinaan). The lines following that describe this confluence with even more depth.
