Hi, sorry it's been a while. I'm still working on my debut EP which is in the end stages of production. It took longer than anticipated unfortunately. I've had some problems come up in regards to work, health and my damn laptop breaking. But I've got quite a few tracks in the works.

CHAOS FREESTYLE developed out of a riff I created that was meant to go on another song. But after playing it, I just knew it needed a whole track. Taking inspiration from old school death and thrash metal bands like Bolt Thrower and Slayer, this song is probably the heaviest thing I've ever written. It also required me to tune my guitar really weirdly to make it work. So, tuning back to standard will be great fun.

Our song for Litha, aka the Summer Solstice, is part of our album The Windmill of the Year. It celebrates Bridie, the overlighting Divine Feminine spirit of the land of Avalon. She is also the bride of the Lord of Summer, who we first introduced in our song Beltane (hear that here: https://soundcloud.com/annie-dieu-le-veut/beltane) 

The word “Solstice” means "Sun stands still” in Latin, as it appears to do, for three days, at both the Summer and Winter Solstices. At the Summer Solstice, around the 21st of June in the northern hemisphere, the North Pole is turned the most towards the sun, providing us here with the longest day of sunshine of the year.

This is Avalon, raw earth of potter’s clay, 
where Bridie sleeps and dreams Her worlds into play.

Capelossi has been at the cutting edge of electronic music for the better part of a decade. Increasingly selective with his projects in recent years, Stimmhalt now presents his first offering of 2024, making his Refraction debut with a stellar rendition of 'Vertical Blue'. The Tbilisi resident shows a deft hand and a strong sense of personality, as organic sounds soon become smudged by sonic artefacts, drifting vocal fragments and grainy billows of reverb. A deep yet rejuvenating experience, one which not only rounds out the release on a strong note, but adds another summer backroom club tool to your arsenal.
