"Sommaren 95" är en energisk rocklåt som med värme och nostalgi skildrar en avgörande ungdomssommar i mitten av 90-talet. Med sina kraftfulla gitarriff och drivande trummor fångar låten den speciella känslan av frihet och oändliga möjligheter som kännetecknar ungdomens sommardagar.
Berättelsen tar oss genom minnesfragment från sommaren 1995 - från den första stereoanläggningen i bilen som spelades tills högtalarna brann, till vänner som hängde på stranden och kvällar tillbringade vid Folkets Park. Den personliga tonen förstärks genom detaljer om "Lisa som drog" och "Danne som blev kär."
Låten nyttjar smart den klassiska nostalgiformeln där en specifik tidpunkt – "sommaren nittiofem" – blir en symbol för ungdomens gyllene stund.
