Progressive Soul #5

Santa Fe, Argentina | Córdoba, Argentina | 27 años

Sebastián es un DJ y futuro productor de María Juana, Santa Fe. Comenzó a tocar la batería cuando tenía 5 años y continuó estudiando y tocando hasta los 15 años. Su inspiración musical proviene de una mezcla entre sonidos sudamericanos y europeos de los 80s, 90s y 00s. Estudió Traductorado de Inglés en Córdoba. Nunca abandonó la música. Influenciado por los sonidos de reconocidos artistas como Hernán Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, Guy Mantzur y Alex O'rion, decidió realizar un curso de DJ Profesional en Academia Groove en Córdoba y de esa manera comenzó a mezclar principalmente Progressive House y House a los 26 años. Compartió cabina con Facundo De Haes, Ian Avaro, Gimena Vicente y Gianfranco Corradi, entre otros. Ha tocado en Hellish, Europa Disco, en ciclos de progressive como Groove Sessions y también ha participado del podcast francés Encyclopedia y en fiestas privadas.

Con un año de experiencia en la mezcla, actualmente, se encuentra aprendiendo producción musical de forma autodidacta y busca crear sonidos que realmente retratan su visión musical: melodías progresivas con mucho groove y profundas que hacen que el cuerpo y la mente se pierdan en el viaje sonoro.

De forma independiente, en noviembre del 2022 comenzó con su podcast Inside, el cual consta de un set de 1 hora o 2 horas y se publica una vez por mes tanto en Soundcloud como en YouTube. El podcast le brindó más exposición y marcó un crecimiento personal y musical que se refleja en cada set.

Maite García Balsera aka Mai is an electronic music DJ. She was born in 1990 in Extremadura, a west-southern region of Spain.
She started listening to electronic music at the age of 16. The first artists she discovered were trance dj's like Armin van Buuren and Tiesto.
When she was 25 she moved to Madrid. She was firstly introduced to progressive house by his boyfriend who is a local artist in Madrid. After that she started to listen to more deeper sounds and artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Nick Warren and many more. She loves to travel around the world to see his live performances.
Mai started DJing to share music with her friends at private parties in 2016. Since 2017 she has started to make live gigs at some of the best nightclubs in Madrid. 
She prefers emotional and enveloping melodies with groove in her sets.
She has recently created a podcast 'Progressive Soul' where she mixes music that take you on a journey. Mai receives support and listeners from all over the world as she continues to grow and develop his personal sound.
