'Intrusive Thoughts' is part of Jana Greenstone's three track 'Mind Spirals' EP on Black Square Recordings (Eclipse Recordings group). The track features chaotic percussion, a deep driving low end, and surging, unexpected synths. It aims to contrast against the other tracks on the EP, Power of Suggestion and Mind Spirals, with its higher energy and tumultuous drums, while still maintaining the common thread of uneasy introspection.

Jana Greenstone is a techno DJ and producer residing in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Her sets capture the diverse sounds of the techno landscape, spanning from dark and hypnotic with gritty industrial undertones, to groovy and full of bounce with the colouring of lush trance elements. Jana’s productions demonstrate a dedication to exploring different styles and sounds and have been released on labels such as Lazuli Records (including the Lazuli Black and Lazuli Red sublabels), The Acid Mind Recordings, Crisis of Man, and now Black Square Recordings. She has further releases coming in 2023 and 2024 on North American and international labels.

Recently, along with Pachelle, Jana co-founded ‘Common Ground’, an event and mix series in Toronto and Hamilton. Common Ground focuses on curating lineups of exceptionally talented local DJs and producers, as well as uniting lovers of the harder dance music genres in safe, welcoming, and intimate spaces. Common Ground is off to a strong start in 2023 with the soft launch and Hamilton hard launch in the books, with further events in Hamilton and Toronto coming in early 2024.

Aside from the music, Jana integrates her photography work and design skills into her projects to cultivate complimentary visuals for releases and events. She is inspired by the beautiful landscapes and cityscapes both in Canada and beyond and allows that to shine through in her creative works.

When she is not spending time creating, Jana is working as an engineer in a cutting-edge technological field, crafting new cocktails, camping in the woods, and exploring Toronto’s various music scenes.

At the age of 29, with a musical journey ignited by the pulsating beats of the Loveparade in the early 2000s, NØ TiME emerges as a rising force in the world of Techno. The roots of his passion trace back to the vibrant days of the Loveparade, sparking a love for electronic music that led him down a path shaped by the sounds of the underground Techno scene.

Raised in an environment where Techno wasn't just music but a way of life, NØ TiME was introduced to this world from the very beginning, with an uncle who is an avid Techno enthusiast. Growing up in this sonorous atmosphere paved the way for a deep connection to electronic music.

While NØ TiME embarked on the journey of DJing in late 2022, his path had previously woven through the hallowed halls of the global Techno scene. From the dim corners of Berlin clubs to the pulsating beats in the warehouses of France, his travels explored all facets of Techno, shaping his unique musical style.

His global odyssey through countless Techno events and clubs allowed NØ TiME to capture the subtle nuances of different currents and integrate them into his own sonic landscape. Experiences of dancing crowds on various continents have shaped his sound
