I recorded this in 2010, after a beautiful road trip with some of the best people I know. I missed the hell out of them, so this song was an impromptu catharsis - recorded on the spot with my guitarist's terrible keyboard and my MacBook's mic.

My friend Amos Lee performed in Durham the other day, and a bunch of his songs have been stuck in my head. I did a quick cover of "Violin" and wanted to share it with y'all - singing this song was partly catharsis during a tough few weeks, and partly an impetus to figure out how my keyboard works in Pro Tools. :) Enjoy!
