Three tracks I co-wrote and produced during a Chris Difford online songwriting retreat in May 2021, each created from start to finish in a couple of hours on three different days.

1: DEVILS INVITE - written by Archie Banks, Harry Smith and Jamie 'Stan' Stanley. The brief was to write a song inspired by a photo of our choice. We chose the playlist cover photo taken by Martin Parr. A song about the worst kind of post-pandemic bar dweller...

2: LEFTOVERS & BALL GAMES - written by David Booth, Alexander Gold and Jamie 'Stan' Stanley. The brief was to write a dog related song for Chris Difford's Saturday 'Social Club' stream that week in aid of Battersea Dogs Home. The song is an imagined thought conversation between a rescue dog and his new owner.

An ode to 'Bojo The Clown' and his abominable ilk.

A tribute to all who have been impacted by their pandemic negligence and outright criminality. A rallying cry to all who see through their veneer to stand up and be heard. A hopeful wish that the days of clueless leaders wreaking havoc on all our lives may one day finally be numbered.

Taken from the upcoming fourth Mailman album 'The Lighthouse & The Rocks', a meditation on mortality, loss and hope in a 'post' Covid world.
