Hailing originally from Brazil, but currently residing in Amsterdam, Artur - who goes by the artist name RTUR_ - was exposed to music at a young age, heavily influenced by his parents' diverse musical taste in genres including Rock, Blues, Classical music and MPB.

In 2016, RTUR_ found himself immersed in the electronic music scene, frequenting renowned clubs and festivals in Brazil. It was during these experiences where he realized that music was the path he wanted to pursue in life.

Since launching his career as an artist, RTUR_ has performed at various clubs including Terrazzo Music Park in Brazil and Het Sieraad in The Netherlands. Furthermore, his music productions have been released on the labels Createch and Human Beyond.

Today, RTUR_'s artistic style is characterized by his progressive and unconventional approach to playing and producing music, resulting in a sound that is both distinct and innovative.

Channeling Amsterdam's forward - thinking ethos with a twist of Brazilian flavor, Main Identity joins the burgeoning halls of W with his debut EP, "Vanity".

Known for balancing a raw drive with heady ambiances and kinetic elements, Main Identity's fresh approach in "Vanity" is set to become an enthralling calling card for the rising creator as we navigate across the turbulent outskirts of immersive techno..Far from superfluous, "Vanity" opts to showcase a visceral side as Main Identity deploys a tense bassline over a thumping frame. Treading with utmost confidence, we uncover Detroit-style vocals that sway in and out of frame in a commanding manner before the Brazil-born producer unleashes menacing klaxons that imbue the piece with a tantalizing sense of impending doom.

Feral and unapologetic, "Vanity" moves at its own pace, channeling and reprocessing energy with every moving molecule in its composition, leading to a gritty breakdown before escaping away into red - lit corners of the night. Main Identity' s first delivery for W is complemented by the immersive counterpart, "Triggered". Almost narcotic from the outset, this cavernous piece finds the Amsterdam - based producer heavily manipulating lingering vocals as surging acidic frequencies rise over a padded sequence. Mystifying, the electric lines contort, creating dazzling gated sequences that come together in a dance of their own. A gorgeous exercise in call - and -response that never loses its sharp edge, "Triggered" is the perfect companion to "Vanity", making Main Identity's W debut a most indispensable weapon.
