I started this series TEN years ago; it feels crazy to think it's been this long. As always the goal is to ease you into the new year. I release these in the winter (obviously!) but they have a springtime feel to me: new birth, new growth, new beginnings.

Basically the musical equivalent of black eyed peas (but definitely not Black Eyed Peas).

'Bot Music' dropped in May to great supports across the board. It's 4 tracks of diverse sounds and styles resonated via club systems worldwide. You know we had to do the remix right? First up, rising star Aquadrop delivers a euphoric stab of trap and bass goodness with his remix of Monky Man – you feel it when you hear it. Big tune! Bot then teams up with Ed Banger's Riton to remix Scream 85. Weird and wild sounds from the underground. Italian duo Blatta & Inesha (Blood Music, Bad Life) deliver a sophisticated techno vibed remix of 'Federjet' which moves so so well. Watch for this mix to make an impact! Our mate Wongo touches up Fribay, featuring Astronomar and delivers his 'Twisted Arsonist Mix', a deep and heady vibe compared to the playfulness of the original. Don't let Wongo touch the matches! Finally, we end of this pack with the remix stem for Monky Man – calling all producers, here's your chance to flip this track into your own, and possibly win a release on Main Course..More details on that soon, but for now enjoy the twisted sounds of Bot Music!!
	

	Bot is soo Italian, he'll judge you if you order a cappuccino at a time other than breakfast, and speaks with his hands much more than normal. What is normal anyway though? His drums are proper sick. Newly relocated to Los Angeles, Bot is working hard to redefine his productions as a solo artist and broaden his sound palette since departing that famed duo we don't need to mention anymore. Look into it, or maybe don't; just listen. There's more than enough to get familiar with, as 2013 saw 2 releases on Steve Aoki's Dim Mak Records, plus EPs on Fake Blood's Blood Music, and his home for many years, Southern Fried. This EP follows up the impressive Bot & Wafa 'Bring The Syndrum' EP which dropped in July.

2019 was our best year as Smalltown, with releases on Fools Gold and Box Of Cats and some of our favorite shows to date.
