 Time again for another slice of wild! We're excited to release this 4 track pack from Italian duo RVBRA (pronounced 'Roo-brah') which defines all limitations of logic and sound to produce something truly unique. We hear in these tracks ideas that are so different; this is advanced club music that somehow keeps the dancefloor widlin' out, while challenging the listeners ears. 'Takira' sets it off, and is the EP's biggest weapon. 'Come Back' hits with a drunken swing that leaves you dancing off kilter to sound of a gurgling baby. 'Junk' might be inappropriately named, but there's everything including the kitchen sink in the mix. Half time, to uptempo and back, this is the EPs most playful track. 'Wait This' ends the release off on a head thrashing rave tip, a bit anthemic, a bit heavy, and pure RVBRA! Molte Bene!


 RVBRA are Andrew and Girolamo, from Rome and Sienna Italy, respectively. Previous remixes and tracks have seen release on Crookers label Ciao Recs and have gathered heavy support from Diplo, Toddla T, Jack Beats and Fake Blood. Expect to hear much more from this dynamic duo, who have also remixed Aylen's hit 'Quack Attack' (Aug 19th)  for us, and Gianni Marino's 'Drumbeats Go!” (Sept. 30th). The future is here!

It all started with a bassline (my favorite part of any song). Once I finished the drums and added some melody stabs (see if you can name the piano sample as quickly as @tj-pruden did) it still needed something else, so I dug through my acapella library and came across “Kariboo Chant” by DJ Technic (thanks for the acapella plug @djbabsmusic ). The vocal harmonies instantly brought everything to life and added some soul to the track!
