The first single from Binary State's upcoming ''InterFEARence' album on HeadzState.

We first introduced Nookie's 'Binary State' alias to HeadzState in 2022, and with two EPs now under his belt we are delighted to present the debut album from this techno-focused project.

Nookie is no stranger to lower tempos having always been inspired by the sounds of techno, specifically those emanating from Detroit in the late 80s and early 90s. It was only a matter of time before he took this passion to a new level in terms of production, something that has kept him thoroughly engaged in the studio in recent years.

Titled 'InterFEARence', the album focuses particularly on percussion, chord progressions and deeper, more intricate elements, smoothly coming together over 12 tight-knit tracks. This is a real journey in terms of a listening experience and one that we're proud to house as the first full length artist album on HeadzState.

Philth presents the 24th instalment of the legendary Dispatch Dubplate series. A special release that brings together some of Philth's most in-demand dubs and a host of collaborations with close friends and inspirational artists.

Philth has been working with Bredren for many years and were the only act Philth considered for a remix of "The Teacher" - a stand-out tune from 2020's Moments in Time LP (Part 2). As one of the only remixes the Belgian trio have ever done, this very special tune gets an incredible makeover courtesy of Philth's long-term friends and collaborators, the multi-talented Bredren.

The vinyl-exclusive "Majesty VIP" is a classic techstep, Tramen and Reese reworking cooked up in Craggz' analogue studio - a taster of what to come from the forthcoming Battery & Philth EP on Dispatch.

"Colour Blind" is a true dub from the vaults, written alongside Survival & Script in the early days of their now widely celebrated SCAR project. Having spent five years as a dub and thought never to see a full release, with a brand new mixdown it makes the perfect addition to the Dispatch Dubplate series, aiming to celebrate those lost tracks and exclusive dubs.

Two solo productions complete the release - "The Fear", a tense, dark roller, written By Philth as an attempt to channel anxiety that has been bringing tension to the dancefloor ever since, and "Deja Vu", a track that combines proper live breaks with a simple, progressive bassline that grows and growls throughout.

I'm originally from Glasgow, Scotland but moved to Canada in 2004. Started listening to Dance Music in 86, bought my first set of decks in 1995. Studied Contemporary Popular Music and Dance Music Production at James Watt College in Greenock, Scotland. On my Soundcloud I will be creating playlists of tracks that I like from SoundCloud once a month as well as a DJ mixes also once a month.  I will also continue to upload my own tracks and mixes as well. My taste in Dance Music is very broad ranging from Techno to Drum & Bass.
