Maine1 aka lil tkid is a black man from Seattle central district and is best known for being the creator and lead man from the infamous Rap Crew Self Tightld. Specializing in gangster rap music he grew into conscious rap. With over 1,300 followers on twitter and 1,500 on Instagram and 5,000 on Facebook , his social media platforms has kept him up to date with hip hop culture movements across the country. Maine1 has collaborated and performed with Mac Dre *rip*, yukmouth, b-legit, D.M.S., Gangsta nutt, Dj Dv1, DZ, performed at kube 93.3 summer jam, Louisville summer jam, Atlanta up n coming music venue and many more. He released Self Tightld *Hustlin N Hell* 98’, Gangsta Nutt *Save Me* 99’, *A Hustlaz Livin Hell* 2000’, *Out the trunk muzic compilation* 01’, V.O.H.T 03’ L.O.V.E (letting our violence end) foundation 06’, Grey team 07’ and have over 100,000 units sold across the world including Japan, China & London. In 1999 he was on kube 93.3 in Seattle, 106.1 KMEL in SF Bay Area, JAM'N 107.5 in Portland Or, WTFX-FM 93.1 FM in Louisville KY. Maine1 has been conscious rapping since 2005 with the murder of his big brother Tekid and going thru a war in Seattle streets with his own homies. After getting shot in the head, being in a coma for a month, shot again in the side, again in the leg, and going to prison in 2009 he retired from the street life and Gangsta rap. Maine1 started conscious realism rap to show his growth and put positive music into the hip hop culture. Starting off with the Love foundation single letting our violence end and video after the murder of 18 year old Allen Joplin.
