2015 is definitely DisasZt’s year! The label head-honcho teams up this time with one of the MC legends in the Drum & Bass Scene, MC Coppa, and brings you the “Trojan Horse”…

After the collaboration single with Protune & a feature in the Mainframe Soldiers Series, DisasZt returns into the scene with an epic, yet perfect track to finish up this summer in a breath-taking way, showing his intention to create something personal but relevant to the whole scene.

A combination of intricate drum edits, a heavy complex sound & precise vocals: The “Trojan Horse” will be stopping wherever you want.

Also joining up on this single are two duos, Telekinesis and our label-own fire starters Dossa & Locuzzed. Telekinesis’ remix is stepping up the level of heaviness, incorporating their dominant style, once again with Coppa’s vocals.

Finishing up this masterpiece is Dossa&Locuzzed’s remix, calming down the mood with a tremendous array of drum patterns and typical bass growls. The Austrian duo is showing us, yet again, the power of their production style.

We proudly welcome back one of our old friends, Receptor! The very talented young Russian producer has already released two tracks on Mainframe Recordings – First off, his track “Flash To Flash” has been on the flipside of Camo & Krooked’s famous single “Vision” (MFR002) – the second track “Cigarette Lighter” was featured on the “Together EP” with records by the likes of DisasZt, BTK, Ruckus Keepers and others.
And now we have a perfect comeback with a 2-track single: “Crossover/Okay”– A great mix between dark, and experimental.

“Crossover”, the single title track is marked by obscure bass lines, quick-fire percussion, striking breaks and finished up by MC Swift’s dusky vocals. The perfect combination for a dark neurofunk track!

On the flipside, “Okay” is a fresh piece of Drum & Bass, influenced by the unique experimental production skills, which Receptor has accomplished during his astonishing career.

Side A – 24/7 featuring Mc Daxta, Austria’s word-shuffling pride is truly a heartfelt declaration of Love to the Music we’re all livin’, a finely-calibrated, cleverly-written track. Joining forces with Daxta they for sure created a Drum and Bass anthem, that depicts the performance, lets the listener be privy to the actions on stage, feel the energy, the smoke the sweat, the vibe, the bouncing crowd…

23. Receptor Feat. MC Swift - Crossover

Bass Infection is spreading out inexorably. Volume 3 of the album series launched back in June brings you another load of pandemic vibes and contagious beats from all around the globe – enjoy the outbreak!  
On the opener, Nakwan & Kryptomedic are teaching a lesson in how to “Bring The Funk Back”. Kryptomedic's instructions are carried by an atmospheric intro that's constantly building up tension to burst in a drop unleashing some serious fire. After having gained attention with releases on Renegade Hardware and Kinetik recently, young talent from Bratislava Kutlo is marching in with “The Raid”, a merciless Stomper driven by pan-pot-percussion and earthquake bass lines. TR Tactics do what they do best – disassembling the system in a fury and shifting orderly conditions to a “Chaos State”. Better run for cover when you see “The Swarm” coming up – Body & Soul let loose the Killer Bees. Finally, Netics, newcomers from Belgrade, are making their debut on Mainframe with Dropship, a fierce roller resembling the vibe of late 90s' Drum & Bass. Keep it coming!

Fresh collab tune forthcoming on Mainframe Recordings sees DisasZt's sense for raw impact and Erb N Dub's rather playful approach to the rinse-out business come together in a perfect blend.
Hailing from Brighton, Erb N Dub has become a staple in the UK Drum & Bass scene, with releases on RAM, Technique and Playaz, remixes for DJ Fresh, Foreign Beggars and, not least, his recent joint with Krafty Kuts alongside Harry Shotta, which earned him heavy rotation on BBC Radio 1.
Likewise, Vienna's DisasZt, the man behind Mainframe Recordings and one of Europe's largest recurring event series under the same brand,  can't exactly complain about a lack of airplay these days. With decent tunes such as 'Vogue' on Viper, and 'I Got U' (in collaboration with Brazil's Alibi) on V Recordings, he has recently surprised his followers by bringing deep vibes and melodic sweetness to the table. On 'Stop', he now recollects the tried-and-true heavyweight formula he is known and loved for.
Dark and doomy all the way, meandering synth lines and bleepy signals pile up into a throbbing wall of sound, subsequently being riddled by percussive drumfire and chain punch bass hits. Armed with some extra nasty Rave stabs and bass sweeps engaging in call-and-response with that notorious Beastie Boys sample, DisasZt and Erb N Dub are definitely rockin' the sure shot on this one.

Vienna's acclaimed Drum & Bass juggernaut Dorian, arguably one of the scene's most versatile artists these days, is teaming up with fellow Austrian Jump Up Kingpin Skore once again to deliver their follow-up collab to 2017's smash hit "Powertool", which has been sported by the likes of Annix or Hamilton and made huge waves throughout the whole scene.

Doing a reckless time warp to the Eighties, Dorian & Skore are taking it back to those pioneering days of wireframe aesthetics and Arcade gaming glory. Time to enter the grid when drums start pumping, carried by staggering FM bass triplets and iconic Electro Disco sounds, ready to conquer Bitmap Hyper-Reality when the lead theme is sneaking in. Having premiered on Pendulum's One Mix podcast last July, "Retro Driver" is now about to sweep over the masses, so be sure to toggle Auto-Fire on and hit that button.

Lingering on the Flip side, a somewhat darker "Cyberpunk" opens up with a heavy half timing intro, full of dystopian soundscapes and vivid Blade Runner-esque imagery about to be stripped off and blow up as a bone-dry tech stepper, with neck snapping drums and biting bass stabs getting your chaos engines started. Badboy business for sure, brutal deluxe!

‘17 years of Mainframe Recordings’ album. The LP features an eye watering 18 tracks, all of which provide a snapshot into how the imprint has evolved over the course of its expansion. Including newcomer artists who Mainframe are currently investing in, as well as those who Mainframe have had play at their raucous club nights, there’s a host of tastes catered for. And with a name like Disaszt at the helm, the album, the label and its events have been in good hands. 
Tracks like Ripple’s ‘Stranger’, Wingz ‘Definite’, and Halflow’s ‘Progressive ID’ set the mood, showing the talent which Mainframe have at their fingertips when it comes to the fresher waters of drum & bass. Then Mainframe frequenters Dubape, Phentix, Alibi and Smooth pull you into their expert riddims throughout its track listing. Breakpitt & Tenchu offers something different throughout the soundscape of ‘Flashfreeze’ whilst Picota & Kumbh’s ‘Contact’ continues the moodier vibes. We wish you a down-right dirty Christmas as Austria’s infamous Mainframe Recordings, gifts us their last release of the year on the most high holy of days! Dorian returns to the imprint with Radiation, an unadulterated tear out roller. This track brings us all the fun of late naughties jump-up, cow-bell included.
Get ready to rave because everything about this release will take you back to jump-up’s glory days. Think Hazard, Original Sin and Twisted Individual circa 08 and you’re nearly there. Add in some modern clarity in the mastering and voilà, contemporary jump up at its finest.
The continuous wobbling, squashed up sounding baseline, fills the atmosphere with a thick swirl of the happiest nostalgia. Crashing ‘Mr Happy’-esk drums cascade throughout the entirety of this short, sharp shot of high energy.
Since his debut release “Jump Up” Dorian has built a reputation amongst the scene’s biggest players as being one of the most well rounded producers in the game, with recent support from DJ Hype, The Prototypes, S.P.Y, Rene LaVice and of course Mainframe Recordings head honcho DisasZt.
