2015 is definitely DisasZt’s year! The label head-honcho teams up this time with one of the MC legends in the Drum & Bass Scene, MC Coppa, and brings you the “Trojan Horse”…

After the collaboration single with Protune & a feature in the Mainframe Soldiers Series, DisasZt returns into the scene with an epic, yet perfect track to finish up this summer in a breath-taking way, showing his intention to create something personal but relevant to the whole scene.

A combination of intricate drum edits, a heavy complex sound & precise vocals: The “Trojan Horse” will be stopping wherever you want.

Also joining up on this single are two duos, Telekinesis and our label-own fire starters Dossa & Locuzzed. Telekinesis’ remix is stepping up the level of heaviness, incorporating their dominant style, once again with Coppa’s vocals.

Finishing up this masterpiece is Dossa&Locuzzed’s remix, calming down the mood with a tremendous array of drum patterns and typical bass growls. The Austrian duo is showing us, yet again, the power of their production style.

For over two decades, DisasZt has been a defining force in Drum & Bass – not only as a producer and DJ, but as the founder of Mainframe Recordings, one of Europe’s most respected DnB institutions. His influence helped shape club culture in Austria and connected it to the wider international scene, long before DnB became the global genre it is today.  BACK IN TIME (The Album That Never Came Out) is a project with history.  Originally completed before the pandemic, the album was intended to mark a next chapter for DisasZt and Mainframe. The world changed — release schedules collapsed, touring stopped, and the album was never unveiled as a whole. Instead, parts of it surfaced over the years, piece by piece, in fragments.  This release restores the album as it was meant to be heard: a complete body of work.  Musically, BACK IN TIME bridges the signature DisasZt sound — driving, precise, dark-edged Drum & Bass — with vocal depth, emotional weight, and a sense of reflection. It stands between eras:  the sound of Mainframe at its peak, and the sound of an artist who understands exactly who he is.  The album includes new unreleased tracks alongside selected works from the original sessions, finally presented together in full form. It is not a comeback statement — because nothing was ever truly paused. It is simply the return of a piece of history that waited for the right moment to be heard.

Vienna's acclaimed Drum & Bass juggernaut Dorian, arguably one of the scene's most versatile artists these days, is teaming up with fellow Austrian Jump Up Kingpin Skore once again to deliver their follow-up collab to 2017's smash hit "Powertool", which has been sported by the likes of Annix or Hamilton and made huge waves throughout the whole scene.

Doing a reckless time warp to the Eighties, Dorian & Skore are taking it back to those pioneering days of wireframe aesthetics and Arcade gaming glory. ‘17 years of Mainframe Recordings’ album. The LP features an eye watering 18 tracks, all of which provide a snapshot into how the imprint has evolved over the course of its expansion. Including newcomer artists who Mainframe are currently investing in, as well as those who Mainframe have had play at their raucous club nights, there’s a host of tastes catered for. And with a name like Disaszt at the helm, the album, the label and its events have been in good hands. 
Tracks like Ripple’s ‘Stranger’, Wingz ‘Definite’, and Halflow’s ‘Progressive ID’ set the mood, showing the talent which Mainframe have at their fingertips when it comes to the fresher waters of drum & bass. Then Mainframe frequenters Dubape, Phentix, Alibi and Smooth pull you into their expert riddims throughout its track listing. Breakpitt & Tenchu offers something different throughout the soundscape of ‘Flashfreeze’ whilst Picota & Kumbh’s ‘Contact’ continues the moodier vibes. DisasZt has proven his weight within the drum & bass world through a variety of projects, one of which is managing one of Europe’s biggest drum & bass nights, Mainframe. As well as DJing and producing, he has brought thousands of fans through the doors of Vienna’s most illustrious venues, pulling together line ups which hand pick the absolute best of the 170bpm genre from around the world. Yet more recently it has been his own music which has caught people’s attention, the same records he has played out in his DJ sets; the live performances which have also seen him perform across the European continent. He has been able to infect his work with the same energy and enthusiasm he has shown time and time again through Mainframe, now both an events brand and record label. And it’s also the home of DisasZt’s own productions, including his forthcoming release 
‘Tigerlily’ and ‘Synco’. 
With over one hundred releases in Mainframe’s catalogue, DisasZt continues the imprint’s meteoric rise through this release. ‘Tigerlily’ is the record’s a-side, moving away from the more mainstream build of a dark drum & bass intro and instead going for a different approach. With quickly flitting beats acting as steppingstones into its first breakdown, its sudden break leaves you drowning in layers of bass heavy distortion, punctuated by strings of melody. On the reverse ‘Synco’ carries on the assault, with siren-like atmospherics adding an urgency whilst tapping notes stab through its slicing drums. Its first breakdown drives you directly through the twisting groove of each hook, which creates the energy DisasZt is renowned for during his DJ sets.

If there was a time to be aligned to the sounds of the clubbing world it would be now. More than ever, we need to be reminded of the dancefloor and why we love the explosiveness of drum & bass music in a live setting. DisasZt’s single certainly helps to do this.

We wish you a down-right dirty Christmas as Austria’s infamous Mainframe Recordings, gifts us their last release of the year on the most high holy of days! Dorian returns to the imprint with Radiation, an unadulterated tear out roller. This track brings us all the fun of late naughties jump-up, cow-bell included.
Get ready to rave because everything about this release will take you back to jump-up’s glory days. Think Hazard, Original Sin and Twisted Individual circa 08 and you’re nearly there. Add in some modern clarity in the mastering and voilà, contemporary jump up at its finest.
The continuous wobbling, squashed up sounding baseline, fills the atmosphere with a thick swirl of the happiest nostalgia. Crashing ‘Mr Happy’-esk drums cascade throughout the entirety of this short, sharp shot of high energy.
