The badabing diskos crew digs deep once more and comes up with two downtempo indie-house monsters from label regulars Vinny Villbass and Sommerfeldt.

Producer, artist, sound guru and DJ Vinny Villbass hails from Oslo with releases on Eskimo and Trunkfunk. He has also worked with experimental electronic artist Pantha Du Prince and is a versatile performer and musician. Here he works with Sommerfeldt who has previously worked under various aliases on acclaimed labels such as Paper Recordings and Full Pupp. He is an equally prominent figure of the Oslo club circuit and both of these new tracks came together while eating basement fish (fermented trout that's been cooking in a bucket of brine in a basement for two months) in a wood cabin somewhere in the Norwegian mountains during the pandemic of 2021. Opener 'Back in Time' leans backward in both rhythm and harmony and creates plenty of space for its heavy claps and hypnotic vocal cuts. This alluring and artful groove is perfect for both sunlit beaches and dark clubs alike. As always with this label, it's a track that oozes musicianship and class. The equally fresh 'Basement Fish' goes even deeper but explores harder energies as disharmonic analog synth mayhem is held together by rhythmic vocals from the ever-amazing Toshybot who was once part of late 90s supergroup Tøyen. It's a rugged groove with tripped-out synth effects designed to bring all new vibes to the dance floor. Vinny Villbass & Sommerfeldt have hooked themselves a couple of beauties for this EP. Irish-man Rory Reid releases his debut two-tracker Disco Dance Discs on record label and event series Exotic Disco. The Australien label with a preference for housey Disco vibes sets the bar high with Reid's release as Disco Dance Discs manages to combine the positive undertone the genres brings along with a thoroughly artsy sound composition. Without surprise the A1 Baby is provided with a lush bass line - something quite current for the genre - and is enriched with the (repetitive coming in) vocal, short filter rides as well as the memorizable chords, as all the before-mentioned features are responsible for a little summer-anthem  or total feel good madness on the floor.

Toy Tonics signed a band! Yes! After developing many DJ producers like COEO, Cody Currie and Sam Ruffilo now the Berlin imprint comes up with an electronic band! Baby's Berserk come from Amsterdam. 2 guys and 2 girls who studied art and fashion design and love 80ies dance pop dance bands like Talking Heads, New Order or the 2000’s LCD Soundsystem. They have a big love for 1980ies music and try to conect it with today's indie aesthetics.
You might know some members of the band from their other activities: One member of the band makes clothes for UK popstars like ADELE and the other band boss is Mano Hostelle. He is also part of Mauskovic dance band and other buzzed indie electronic bands from Amsterdam and Berlin.

The debut album of Baby's Berserk has been released in fall 2023 but here we come with a remix EP of their album. To introduce the music via the dancefloors.
Remix comes from Niklas Wandt (the German jazz drummer and lofi house producer.). The Indie rock hero Kris Baha did a remix as well as Nicolini (from world famous Mauscovic Dance Band).
